Clinically Proven to Improve Adherence and Health Outcomes
In a recent study of patients with poorly controlled diabetes, Dr. William Bayer and Dr. Anthony Sterns (Enhancing Medication Adherence in Older Adults…, manuscript submitted to Gerontology, November 2025) documented significant improvements in blood sugar control (HbA1c), medication adherence (Morisky Scale), and depressive symptoms (PHQ2), as illustrated in the graphs below.
We began our research with people who have diabetes because progress can be clearly measured using HbA1c testing. But MediTeddi is designed to help anyone who struggles with daily medication routines.
Patients in our program who maintain their improved HbA1c levels will gain on average 5–10 additional years of life and experience 30% fewer hospitalizations. Just as importantly, depression scores improved as much as they typically do with medication—without side effects—and several patients were able to stop taking antidepressants after using MediTeddi.
